Gotta get the DoodleBastard gas tank mounted somehow, so I came up with a way! A gas tank made entirely from VW metal? (Except the weld wire, of course... lol!) This makes me happy! We are going to have a DoodleBastard top speed contest soon! The DoodleBastard needs a gas tank! What metal do I have around to fabricate one from? You guessed it! Eleanore's old door skin became a donor from which I fabricated a DoodleBastard gas tank from one piece of metal! The DoodleBastard! Its finally nearing some level of rideability and completion! Here I demonstrate my chain tensioning setup configured, some wire management, and demonstrate the engine sound. Need to configure a break and a gas tank, but thats about it! The clapped out Doodlebug engine swap fun times! This Doodlbebug mini bike engine swap was performed with a Lifan LF200 engine also known as a 163FML engine which is a very common chinese dirt bike engine Honda clone engine.  …...more

The engine is also known to come from a Baja Motorsports dirt bike. The engine was removed from my old 200cc mini chopper which can be seen in another video. This 200cc engine comes in a few other configurations such as 100cc engine, 125cc engine, 150cc engine, 200cc engine, and 250cc engine. This should be very fast minibike. I chose not to go with a Predator minibike engine swap because this engine makes more power and has a proper 5 speed transmission and manual clutch minibike. This minibike exhaust also sounds better because it isn't a Predator lawnmower engine, and rather a proper 200cc motorcycle engine, so no Predator engine sound.
