Investigating rust in the front end of my 1967 VW Bus. First by removing the bumper, then the entire lower nose peeled off by hand. I discovered that the front end inner support was almost completely disintegrated and missing! After digging deeper it was found that the front end was repaired by someone at some earlier point by gluing some galvanized sheet metal over the nose rust with bondo...
