Become my Patreon member, get early access: http://duckshit.net The chopper shortly after I got it assembled when I got it home and got the battery replaced. Problems: 1. Electric starter sucks. 2. Headlight caught fire. 3. Battery inadequate for electric start. 5. Very hard to start when kicking it over. 6. Its idling very rough due to carb issues. The chinese-built carb that comes with the Lifan engine is CRAP. I should look for a suitable Mikuni flatside carb or one off of a Honda XR200 7. I hate the rear fender. 8. All the lights on it blew out in no time at all from virabration! LEDs in the taillight were soldered down backwards. I HAD TO REPLACE THEM ALL! 9. Squeeze the clutch the brake light comes on. 10. The wiring is a nightmare, most of it is all wrong or doesn't work! 11. Handlebars broke off the triple trees... DANGERROUS! 12. The chain tensioner between the engine and the jackshaft SUCKS. The roller wheel on it wore out in 10 miles, and it caught the chain and bent itself to hell several times before I just removed it and threw it all away. 13. The chains (both front and rear) wore clear through in under 100 miles and fell apart... DANGEROUS! 14. Already rusting. 15. Dents in gas tank from shipping. 16. Front forks are flimsy 17. Footpegs flimsy 18. Footpegs drag without any effort steering. Leaning is impossible! 19. Exhaust pipe mounts broke and fell off, so did both exhaust pipes. 20. Frame cracked under the seat. 21. Kickstarter shattered at the pivot joint. 22. Speedometer shows almost twice the speed you're actually going, as a result the odometer is wayyyy off! 23. Starter sprag inside the motor ground itself and the bearings within it down to nothing. Electric starting is disabled as a result. (Turns out these are all this way, the electric starter is just too weak, but its easy to kick over so kickstart works fine.) Almost all of the above was repaired or replaced with better parts than original or properly remanufactured to last. The thing is actually reliable now. I found this old video leftover on my harddrive from several years ago. Maybe someone will enjoy it and maybe it will answer some questions as to how good (or not so good) these bikes are! =D
